2012: Solar LED Pathway Light

I was a Senior Product Designer for a company that made architectural grade pedestrian scale solar powered LED lighting. I worked on a project for a cutting edge, fully integrated pathway light. During this project I worked with an industrial designer to create a concept on paper that I translated into digital 3D models. I then fashioned a physical concept from foam. The team could then evaluate the product aesthetics in the real world before going forward with prototype sand castings. I helped craft the metals, created the product documentation, and built the manufacturing processes for a product that became highly successful in the marketplace in the years to come.
