2004: Transit Farebox

After my first year in the Mechanical Engineering Technology program at Camosun College, I got a co-op with a local company for the summer of 2004. The role required me to reverse engineer a stainless steel farebox for transit buses with over 75 sheet metal components to design and document. During this project I updated drawing templates, created document numbering schemes, and sourced components from all over North America. I also visited the manufacturer in Vancouver to review one of the prototype builds and learned how to use SolidWorks.
